Bellanina Facelift Massage starts with a thorough cleansing and warm towels to soften the skin and prepare it for the massage. Through a series of acupressure and massage strokes, the vitality of the face is improved, energy is released and muscles are stimulated. Using luxurious oils and the signature Honeylift Massage Lotion, we use shaping, tapping, acupressure and contouring strokes as well as manual lymph drainage to stimulate, nourish, rejuvenate and tone the muscles and skin of your face. Your treatment concludes with a massage to the arm & hands, feet, chest, neck & shoulders and scalp.
Afterward, you will feel wonderfully relaxed and have glowing skin for days.
While one treatment will give you glowing skin, you will see more noticeable results with each treatment and you will have cumulative, lasting results with a series of 12 treatments in 2 to 3 months.
Although results will vary, most people notice...
Decrease in under eye puffiness
Firmer cheeks and jaw line
Neck appears smoother
Naso-labial fold lines soften
Skin looks smoother and tone evens
This is a complementary service* added intermittently during the 'back' portion of your massage. (A service that typically other places will charge you for)
Hot Bamboo Massage is very similar to Hot Stone Massage whereas it deepens relaxation & promotes circulation in your muscles. The main differences between the two are that the bamboo pieces are longer, creating a broader area to be treated at a time and it fits more ergonomically in the hands. Also, the bamboo enables deeper work to be performed when needed. Muscles that are heated with the hot bamboo release tension & stress much more deeply and quickly than with traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing & rejuvenating.
*Note*
Bamboo on the back is used in all massages
Full body bamboo, add $40

Massage During 1st Trimester
There is much controversy about massage during the first trimester. It is a myth that massage can cause a miscarriage during this period. Only extremely deep and vigorous lower abdominal massage could possibly cause a miscarriage. Normal precautions are taken when performing a massage during the 1st trimester, which include light massage over certain trigger points. If a woman experiences a miscarriage after a massage, it is not the massage that is the cause. Most causes are embryonic abnormalities, ectopic pregnancy, poor maternal health, hormonal imbalance, infection, toxic exposure and maternal age.
** I will perform massage during the 1st trimester, however, due to the controversy and misconceptions, I MUST insist on a written note from your doctor stating that he approves of a massage. Included in this note I would like the number of weeks pregnant that you currently are. Your doctor knows of any complications or health issues that you May have and may not want you receiving massage at this time.
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body, administered through a “laying on of hands” to conduct the necessary energy force between us. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health.
During a session, you would be fully clothed (except when doing as an add on service). I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy.
The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain. Reiki has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady, always creating a beneficial effect. It has been proven to help reduce anxiety, improve depression symptoms and helps trigger the body and mind’s natural restorative abilities. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) patients could benefit greatly from Reiki therapy through a reduction in psychological distress, allowing them to finally move on the path to healing. Cancer patients also receive the benefits of less fear, anger and stress to allow the body to begin healing itself. (By Sharon only)

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Myofascial release* is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.
*NOTE
This is only a technique, not an actual massage. We will not do the entire massage time as Myofascial, only a small amount of time on bothersome areas, just before and part of your regular massage time. (No additional time)
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. This treatment involves using plastic, glass or silicone cups to sections of the skin. They may be left stationary or moved over the skin (depending on the need). Cupping helps to improve blood flow and removes toxins, it reduces pain and promotes healing. The skin will appear red and in most cases may cause bruising (this is completely normal). This treatment does not add additional time to your massage. (By Amanda only)
